The Derravaragh Music Association

2020 - 2021

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the Derravaragh Music Association website. As you will be aware, the Covid 19 virus has placed severe restrictions on events and indoor gatherings.
The November planned concert has been cancelled, which won't come as a surprise to anyone. We had planned four concerts (October, November, February and March) and are currently waiting to see if and under what conditions, events may be allowed in the New Year.
We will continue to work with the performers and their respective touring organisations and hope that by early January, we will be able to announce details. At best, we know we will need to make some changes to ensure we follow the health guidelines and keep everyone safe.

We are fortunate in that we have sufficient reserves to maintain the DMA for the coming months and of course are trying to keep any costs (IT, insurance, accounting fees, bank charges etc) as low as possible. However, as you most of you know, the DMA receives no public subsidy and we are wholly dependent on ticket sales and donations. Over the years, many of you have provided generous donations on an annual and ad hoc basis. Please if you can, continue to help us through your donations. We need to maintain a reserve and this year, will have to use it to pay for ongoing costs.

If you wish to continue to support us, please do so by bank transfer. Our bank details are as follows. Please use your name on the bank reference so we know who has provided the donation.

Details for upcoming concerts and to book tickets will be listed here once we are able to confirm that concerts can proceed.

As you will be aware, the Covid 19 virus has placed severe restrictions on events and indoor gatherings. We have therefore had to cancel our planned October & November concerts . PLease keep an eye out for news about concerts in the New Year.
